Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end corporate actions process by conducting research, evaluating event details, and coordinating with traders on elections and potential liabilities
- Maintain and summarize an internal workboard leveraged by trading, research, and engineering teams, ensuring effective communication and cross-functional alignment
- Collaborate with the Fund Accounting team to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded, including participation in cash reconciliations and month-end reviews
- Support firm-wide projects such as broker onboardings, restructurings, and new account setups
- Liaise with external service providers to identify process improvements and maintain compliance with evolving policies and control standards
- The strategies have been carefully designed to generate non-correlated returns.
- Our firm and its strategies are the product of many years of meticulous research and craftsmanship, and you will lead the way in bringing them to investors.
- You will report directly to the Fund Operations Manager and collaborate regularly with senior leadership, including the CFO.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of finance experience, ideally in an operations role or other middle office role at a hedge fund, broker-dealer, or fund administrator
- Ability to work between the hours of 7am to 5pm PST
Nice to have
- Experience automating manual processes (preferred) with a focus on leveraging AI LLMs and AI coding tools
- Experience working for a hedge fund, broker-dealer, or fund administrator and simple accounting for monthly-close (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or Accounting (preferred)
