About the role

  • This will be a 2-year term limited position.
  • This is a hybrid position with an expectation of multiple in-person days per week across Western Maryland.
  • Frequent travel in the region is expected.

Responsibilities

  • Performs tasks with minimal supervision and makes independent decisions based on analysis, experience, and context.
  • Relationship-building experience in working closely with a variety of partners, i.e., media, government officials, and internal scientists.
  • Experience or training in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), with the ability to design and produce field maps supporting land management operations and monitoring.

Requirements

  • Experience with communication via written, spoken and graphical means in English and other relevant languages.

Compensation

  • The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $57,035 - $63,410 annually.
  • Where a successful candidate's actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate's location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience.
  • Please note countries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the local currency based on the local labor market, and not tied to USA pay or ranges.
