About the role

  • Work with contractors and write specifications for new equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic repairs on university elevators and escalators.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on university elevators and escalators.

Requirements

  • Pre-employment physical exam required.
  • Valid driver's license required and must be insurable by the University's insurance carrier.
  • Will be required to attend a four-year training course on elevators and escalators.
  • This is a required personnel position that necessitates the employee's physical presence in the workplace.
  • This position may be required to work overtime, be on the call-in/standby schedule, and work scheduled events.
