About the role

  • EMCOR Hyre Electric Co. of Indiana, Inc. is seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Associate/driver.
  • This position is located in our Crown Point, IN warehouse.
  • The Warehouse Associate/driver will be responsible for handling materials, supplies and equipment, including tools, operating a forklift, loading, unloading and driving trucks.

Responsibilities

  • Drive 24ft stake bed Have an excellent attitude towards safety and a firm commitment to safety protocols.
  • Maintain a positive work attitude.

  • Verify accuracy of delivery documents.
  • Have the ability to identify, document and resolve discrepancies in goods received and inventory counts.

Requirements

  • Complete all safety and general training required for the position.
  • Familiarity with electrical construction tools and materials.
  • Ability to climb a ladder.
  • Ability to sort and place material on racks or shelves.
  • Ability to work on feet for several hours without rest.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors, including extreme heat and cold.

  • Have a strong understanding of inventory control.
