About the role

- Work for the Cargo unit of a leading airline testing web & SOA solutions for various business units in a fast paced, collaborative environment using a full suite of QA automation tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute software test plans in order to identify software problems and their causes.
- o Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems
Requirements
- 1-2 years exp using Agile SDLC Methodology.
- Must have at least 2 years of writing automated test scripts.
- 1-2 yrs hands-on experience in the use of Quick Test Pro (QTP) with VB scripting.
- o 8-10 years experience required
- Must have 1-2 years exp using Agile SDLC Methodology.
- Must have 2 years of SQL.
- Must have 1-2 yrs hands-on experience in the use of Quick Test Pro (QTP) with VB scripting.
- o Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time (Required)
Nice to have
- o Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering or relevant field preferred
Skills
- o Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills (Required)
- o Strong mentoring skills
- Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- o Review and execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures
- o Review and execute testing programs that addresses areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability
- o Review documentation of software defects and assign software developers to investigate and resolve the issue
- o Review and approve test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
