About the role

This is a highly collaborative role that requires strong partnership with Sales and other business stakeholders, providing pragmatic legal advice while ensuring that legal, regulatory and commercial risks are appropriately identified, assessed and managed.
The successful candidate will act as a trusted adviser to the business, helping stakeholders navigate complex customer negotiations while exercising sound judgement regarding risk.
This role is ideal for a confident, adaptable lawyer who thrives in a fast-paced software environment, enjoys tackling complex negotiations, and is passionate about helping the business succeed.

Build trusted relationships with Sales, Deal Desk, Revenue Operations and other business stakeholders to support customer and channel transactions.
Lead the review, drafting and negotiation of a wide range of commercial agreements, including SaaS, BaaS, software, professional services, channel (including aggregator, reseller and GSI relationships) and NDAs.
Support the development and continuous improvement of contract templates, negotiation playbooks and legal processes, and develop and deliver training and awareness programs to promote best practices and understanding of legal risks, contracting principles and company processes.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the Legal department and contribute to a positive, high-performing team culture.
Extensive experience negotiating complex customer and partner agreements.

For this role, the compensation range below reflects the expected total target compensation (TTC), inclusive of base pay and a competitive performance-based bonus.
For roles with a commission plan, the compensation range represents On Target Earnings (OTE), which includes base salary plus variable commission.
When determining compensation, Veeam takes into consideration factors such as experience, education, skills, and geographic zone.
