Responsibilities

  • Manages an investigation and protective intelligence program that involves threats or incidents directed against executives, Board members, events or employees.
  • Receives, reviews and triages requests for investigation support from all Global Security staff that conduct investigations, which exceeds 35 advisors across the world.
  • Develops investigation plan with responsible investigator and then assigns tasks to staff for investigative analytical support.
  • Partners with Chevron leadership and Law counterparts, and interfaces with Law Enforcement, as each investigation warrants
  • Manages team that develops and disseminates protective intelligence products to support security efforts with Executives, Board members and special events

Requirements

  • 10 years' experience conducting complex investigations, to include threats to people and property
  • Bachelor's degree in related subject
  • Experience with social media monitoring
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately, then assess and evaluate effectively

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in related subject
  • International business or government experience
  • Training and curriculum development in the threat management field
  • Experience with technical security systems used in protection scenarios
