About the role
- Hartville is seeking an entry-level Insurance Agent (Sales Focused) who will report to the Supervisor, Sales.
- Agents are responsible for assisting customers by providing information about products and/or services, confidently answering questions, and ultimately helping them see the value in choosing coverage to protect their pets.
- Actively contributes to solution innovation, sales efforts, and retention strategies, turning everyday service interactions into opportunities to reinforce value and secure commitment from both current and prospective clients.
Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with potential clients by providing information about pet insurance products and services.
- Claims Assistance: Provide support to clients in the claims process, addressing inquiries and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Maintains understanding of federal and state regulations to include compliance.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the broader goals of the team and contribute to a high-performing, customer-focused sales environment.

Requirements
- Must have and maintain Property & Casualty License, or must obtain within 45 days of hire
Nice to have
- 2 years of sales, call center, or relevant experience preferred

- Responds to internal and external inquiries within stated service level agreements.
