About the role

This facility services assistant position is located in the Office of the Chief of Engineering Service at the VA Boston Healthcare System - West Roxbury campus.
This position is full-time at 40 hours per week.
In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade.

The nature of these trips is to review a specific maintenance, repair, or minor improvement request for the purpose of establishing existing conditions, the work requirements, supplies and parts required for the tasks.
The incumbent will be required to lift up to 50 pounds from time to time, as well as be required to stand for extended periods of time observing repairs or operations that require witnessing or verification.
Safety procedures must be followed and appropriate personal protective equipment must be worn, as required for specific areas or tasks being performed.
For a GS-7 position, you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-6.
The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service.
