About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop digital content, including website and intranet content, newsletters, social media, presentations, briefing materials, and executive communications.
- Coordinate with program leaders, scientists, staff, and stakeholders to develop communication products and campaigns.
- Support content governance, editorial review, and communication clearance processes.
- Support website modernization, content migrations, digital engagement initiatives, and content management activities.
- Experience developing external- and internal- facing web content, digital campaigns, social media, newsletters, or other communications materials.
- Experience developing multimedia, graphic, or video communication products.

Nice to have
- Experience working within CDC communication review, clearance, and approval processes.
- Strong writing, editing, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
- Experience with CDC Digital First Editor (DFE) or other federal content management systems.
- Knowledge of CDC Clear Communication Index methodologies.
- Experience with digital analytics, content strategy, SEO, or website modernization efforts.
