Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain middle-layer services using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Java, and/or C#/.NET
- Build and support APIs and web services that enable integration across web, mobile, and backend platforms
- Collaborate effectively with PMO, Development, Product Management, Business, Technical Operations, Systems Engineering, Infrastructure, Network, and Architecture teams
- Develop robust, scalable, and high-performing solutions that support business needs
- Draft and review architectural diagrams, technical specifications, business requirements, and design documents
- Our global consulting firm combines creativity and innovative technology to deliver industry-leading digital solutions.
- Through research and development initiatives in our FinLabs we develop solutions for modernization, from Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain to Data Science models, Digital Underwriting, mobile-first applications and more.
- We are seeking an experienced Node/JS Java Developer to build and maintain APIs and middleware for a mobile services platform.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Core Java, Spring and Spring Boot, Spring Integration, TypeScript, Node.js, Kafka, ActiveMQ
- Experience with J2EE, Servlets, Tomcat, and Maven-based development.
- Proficiency with Oracle, DB2, and/or Sybase databases.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and enterprise technology environment.
- Experience supporting mobile, digital, or customer-facing platform integrations.
- Experience working with complex enterprise systems and middleware environments.
- Ability to work independently while managing priorities and delivering high-quality solutions.
- Experience mentoring and guiding other developers.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle processes and engineering best practices.
- Familiarity with financial products, services, workflows, or financial services technology environments.

- The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.
- In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Menlo Park, CA is $115k - $120k/year & benefits (see below).
