Responsibilities

  • Travel to new project sites to initiate commissioning contract requirements, establish execution strategies, and build strong client relationships for long-term success.
  • Support single or multiple commissioning project deployments throughout the year based on business and client needs.
  • Maintain oversight and accountability of active commissioning projects, ensuring delivery aligns with contractual obligations, safety standards, and performance metrics.
  • Develop and elevate commissioning engineers and technicians into leadership roles during project deployments.
  • Support the development of subject matter content for commissioning training programs and internal development initiatives.
  • Provide oversight and support across multiple commissioning services contracts when deployed.
  • Establish, monitor, and maintain LotusWorks quality standards across all commissioning activities, including punch list management, test packages, and documentation control.
  • Manage commissioning resource planning to ensure adequate staffing and skill sets are applied to meet contract scope and turnover schedules.
  • Maintain and nurture client relationships, providing regular feedback on team performance, commissioning milestones, and system readiness.
  • Support recruitment efforts for commissioning team expansion and facilitate internal transfers of employees as needed.

Requirements

  • Please note that this role may require extensive travel and candidates may be required to relocate for a period of 3 to 18 months depending on project needs.
  • Skills Required:

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Project Management certification preferred.

Skills

  • Experience managing commissioning contracts, resolving technical and contractual disputes, and supporting business development activities.
  • Experience with commissioning reporting, KPIs, punch list tracking, and performance metrics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address technical, operational, and contractual challenges in the field.
  • Familiarity with commissioning management systems and documentation control platforms.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively and relocate for periods of 3 to 18 months based on project deployment requirements.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement throughout the commissioning process.
