About the role

  • We produce strap, stretch and protective packaging.
  • We also manufacture packaging tools and equipment used to apply the bulk packaging materials.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform and troubleshoot mechanical adjustments and alignments to ensure proper fit and operation of equipment.
  • Document assembly processes, test results, and any quality issues encountered.
  • Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work environment, including the use and implementation of 6S.
  • Machine building experience a plus.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma (or GED) is required.

Nice to have

  • 5 plus years of experience.
  • Electro-mechanical troubleshooting and assembly experience required.
  • Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office.

Skills

  • These commercial packaging products are used to pack, bundle, unitize, protect, and secure goods during warehousing and transit.
  • Interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions to determine assembly procedures.
  • Verify dimensional specifications, alignment, and functionality of assembled parts.
  • Perform operating tests per product checklists.

Compensation

  • The hourly wage for this position ranges from $22.00 - $24.00 and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location.
  • Starting hourly rate within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or skillset.
