About the role
- We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our engineering team and help ensure the quality, reliability, and stability of our software products.
- The role includes both manual and automation.
- This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, technically strong, and passionate about improving software quality through automation, testing best practices, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, API, and backend systems.
- Build and improve automation frameworks for functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing.
- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Execute manual and automated tests to validate new features, bug fixes, and production releases.
- Identify, document, and track defects in Jira.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar platforms.
- Support regression testing and release validation for production deployments.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with test automation.
- Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar.
- Experience testing REST APIs and backend services.
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum development teams.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, TeamCity, or similar.
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Git, or similar tools.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience testing fintech, payment, banking, POS, merchant onboarding, wallet, or transaction processing systems.
- Experience with performance, load, or security testing.
- Experience with mobile testing for iOS and Android applications.
- Understanding of payment flows, settlement, reconciliation, fraud monitoring, or compliance workflows.
- Experience creating automation frameworks from scratch.
- Knowledge of cloud environments, microservices, and distributed systems.

- Test Automation: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar
- API Testing: Postman, REST Assured, Swagger/OpenAPI
- Programming/Scripting: Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or similar
