About the role

  • Translate complex business processes into technical specifications, system architecture maps, user stories, and clear acceptance criteria for developers.
  • Ensure all product features conform to internal IT governance frameworks, state agency security protocols, and strict regulatory or federal compliance standards.
  • Communication Establish and enforce a protocol for consistent and detailed documentation for all developed solutions to be used by both internal and external resources (GDOT and suppliers).

Nice to have

  • Technical Acumen: Familiarity with data pipelines, GIS/spatial data systems, cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS), or enterprise service platforms (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Vendor Management: Experience overseeing outsourced or contractor-led software development efforts is highly desirable
  • 4+ years of product management or technical program management experience, preferably within a government agency, enterprise IT, or transportation technology ecosystem.
  • Technical Acumen:
