  • How You Will Contribute In this position, you will be working with our Digital Experience team within Global Medical Communications (GMC).

Responsibilities

  • This role balances high-level solution design with practical technical leadership, maintaining deep expertise while building foundational practices that scale the practice.
  • Drive architectural decisions and technical strategy for Digital Experience projects, ensuring solutions align with business needs, client requirements, and established technical standards.
  • Establish and maintain architectural principles, patterns, reference architectures, and technical standards that guide the development team and ensure consistency across the digital product portfolio.
  • Serve as the primary technical lead on complex client engagements, participating in discovery sessions, solution design, and technical presentations.
  • Lead and mentor senior developers and the broader development team, fostering technical excellence, code quality standards, and professional growth.
  • Evaluate and recommend technology solutions, including AI tools, platforms, and frameworks, providing informed build vs. buy recommendations.
  • Develop proof-of-concepts and technical prototypes for critical initiatives, validating approaches before committing to full implementation.
  • Own technical estimation and scoping for complex projects, developing frameworks that improve accuracy and support project planning and pricing.
  • Design integration strategies for CMS platforms, APIs, third-party services, and data sources, ensuring robust and maintainable architectures.
  • Collaborate with UX leadership to refine and optimize the collaborating dev/UX team delivery model, ensuring technical and design workflows are aligned.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in software development and architecture, with demonstrated progression from hands-on development to technical leadership.

Compensation

  • The expected compensation range for this role is $123,000 to $152,000 CAN.
