Responsibilities

  • We also have a strong presence in the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) segment, where we develop products to help consumers and businesses maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • In 2021, Zep became the official cleaning partner of Atlanta United FC.
  • The Process Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes.
  • Design and develop new manufacturing processes or improve existing ones.
  • Analyze process flow, material handling, and systems to optimize efficiency and throughput.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in both office and industrial settings.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around a plant or production facility.
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. may be required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience with process optimization, continuous improvement initiatives, and troubleshooting is essential.

  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification (optional but beneficial).

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of process design and control systems.
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
  • Proficient in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, MATLAB, AutoCAD).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Collect and analyze production data to assess process performance and determine areas for improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports detailing process improvements, performance metrics, and cost savings.
