About the role
- The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing semiconductor construction and facility projects while ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with client expectations.
- This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors, providing leadership throughout all phases of project execution.
- The ideal candidate has experience managing semiconductor, cleanroom, or high-tech industrial construction projects and possesses strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple semiconductor construction projects from project kickoff through final turnover.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource plans.
- Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
- Support commissioning activities and project closeout documentation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Flexibility to support extended hours or weekends during critical project milestones.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience within semiconductor, cleanroom, industrial, or high-tech construction.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary construction teams and subcontractors.
- Knowledge of semiconductor facility infrastructure including process piping, utilities, cleanroom environments, and equipment installation.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and contract administration.
- Experience using project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects while meeting aggressive deadlines.
Nice to have
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Experience supporting semiconductor fabrication facility expansion or new construction projects.
- Familiarity with commissioning, startup, and owner turnover processes.
