About the role

- Printpack is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Slitter Operator for the Converting plant in Grand Prairie, TX.
- The Slitter Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation, setup, and maintenance of slitting equipment while ensuring quality production standards are met or exceeded.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular quality control inspections and maintain proper material segregation/labeling
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain optimal performance and product consistency
- Maintain clean and organized work area, following proper housekeeping procedures
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Drug screening required
- Background check required
- Must be in good standing with no disciplinary action or attendance issues (Associates in Written or higher stage of counseling are not eligible to apply)
- Must have performer or higher rating in last review
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Nice to have
- Previous manufacturing experience a plus
- Demonstrated stable work history

- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Attention to detail and quality control
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications
- Basic computer skills
