About the role
- OPS Consulting is seeking a Systems Engineer to work in Laurel, MD.
- Experience guiding system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
- Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
Responsibilities
- As a Systems Engineer at OPS Consulting, you will be responsible for analyzing user requirements, concept of operations documents and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
- You will contribute to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents.
Requirements
- Level 1: Seven (7) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope and complexity is required.
- Level 2: Fourteen (14) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope and complexity is required.
- Level 3: Twenty (20) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope and complexity is required.
- Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- Security Clearance: A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.
