About the role

- As an ambassador for GEICO's renowned customer service, you will work in a dynamic environment that may include repair shops, salvage yards, a customer's home or in a virtual estimating environment.
- You will be responsible for inspecting commercial damage, estimating cost of repairs, preparing total loss evaluations, negotiating settlements, issuing payments, and providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Must attain and maintain the required licenses issued by state insurance departments
- Valid driver's license (must meet company underwriting guidelines for at least the past 3 consecutive years) and the ability to maintain applicable state and federal certifications and permits
Skills
- 2 years experience in Commercial Physical Damage Claims Appraising
- Will require you to work remotely and in the field
- Strong computer, mechanical aptitude, and multi-tasking skills
- Effective attention to detail and decision-making skills
- Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, and willingness to expand on these abilities
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent, college degree or currently pursuing preferred
- Annual Salary
- $32.05 - $64.10 The above annual salary range is a general guideline.

Compensation
- $37.65 - $64.10 per hour / $75,850 - $129,150 annually - commensurate based on abilities, skills, experience and location
- $32.05 - $64.10 The above annual salary range is a general guideline.
- Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate.
