About the role

In this role, you'll build end-to-end product features that make it easier for engineers to ship and operate software, with significant depth on the frontend - combining customer-facing UI/API work with improvements to workflows, reliability, and the day-to-day internal developer experience.

Take technical ownership of our React-TypeScript web app - setting the direction for how we hone and maintain the frontend, including how we harness AI to move faster.
Work closely with Product and Design to clarify requirements, make tradeoffs, and deliver in small, high-quality increments.
Partner with Design to define and build a shared component library that enables consistent, high-quality UI across the product.
Participate in the on call rotation, and help drive follow-ups that reduce repeat incidents and make the system easier to operate.
Partner with our customer-facing engineering team to investigate customer issues and deliver fixes or improvements when needed.

You communicate extremely well - you are clear, effective, and proactive in your communication, both speaking and in writing.
Technical Expertise
You have strong software engineering fundamentals and coding ability, and comfort working across a fullstack codebase.
You are a prolific and thoughtful developer in at least one mainstream language, and can pick up new languages/frameworks quickly.
You have particular depth of knowledge in React and the modern frontend ecosystem, including component architecture, state management, performance optimization, and accessibility.
You are comfortable working in cloud infrastructure or distributed systems.

You have experience shipping production software as a fullstack engineer, with significant strength in frontend engineering (targeting Senior II to Staff).
Developer tools experience is a plus.
