About the role
- The Director of Operations is responsible for leading and optimizing all operational functions within a fast-paced IT infrastructure and server rack manufacturing environment.
- Leadership & Team Development o Conduct performance evaluations and establish measurable objectives. o Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence & Process Optimization o Analyze and improve operational workflows to eliminate bottlenecks, increase efficiency, and reduce operating costs. o Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing and best practices.
- Order Fulfillment & Supply Chain Coordination o Partner with supply chain, purchasing, production, and planning teams to ensure timely material availability and production schedules. o Oversee material planning, inventory optimization, shortage tracking, and demand forecasting. o Ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on schedule while maintaining inventory targets.
- Strategic Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement o Investigate operational issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions. o Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve operational performance, quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
