During these emergency responses, while typically there begins with a call for volunteers, county employees may ultimately be reassigned from their current position to a role in the emergency response in order to support the critical needs presented by our communities.
Pharmacy Technicians provide technical support to Pharmacists in the practice of Pharmacy in accordance with federal and State of Oregon Pharmacy Board Rules and Regulations.
This recruitment will be used to fill on-call pharmacy technician positions that will support our various pharmacy clinics as needed to maintain staffing requirements.
Perform on-line billing, call third-party insurances for clarification and resolution of claim rejections, confirm payments.

Perform related duties as instructed or required.

You must be currently licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Oregon to be considered for this position.

Health Department
Answer phones, take messages for refill requests, pull medications from stock for the pharmacists, and file written prescriptions after prescriptions are dispensed.
Review/analyze patient profiles in the electronic health record and pharmacy software for coverage notes, and refill requests to providers.
The ability to apply an equity, intersectional and anti-racist lens.
