Responsibilities

  • Fleet Maintenance: Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair truck and trailer units to ensure safe and reliable operation.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Complete scheduled maintenance tasks, including inspections and service work, to minimize downtime and support operational efficiency.
  • Mechanical and Electrical Systems: Repair and maintain hydraulic systems, tractor and trailer wiring, brakes, suspension, steering, and related components.
  • Maintenance Administration: Coordinate repair schedules, manage purchase orders, and keep accurate maintenance records using computer-based systems.

Requirements

  • Final candidates who are offered a position will be required to undergo a criminal background check.

  • The ideal candidate is organized and self-motivated, responsible for maintaining our fleet of 17 truck and trailer units, including brakes, suspension, steering, and oil changes.

Nice to have

  • Class 1 driver's licence with air brake endorsement is preferred.
