About the role
- We move fast to rethink and redesign our supply chain optimization frameworks from ground up.
- Chewy's Supply Chain is seeking a Research Scientist III of a balanced background in optimization and machine learning (ML) to join the Supply Chain Outbound Science team.
- You will be instrumental in driving the transformation towards ML-based replenishment models.
Responsibilities
- Build High-Performing Teams
- Deep dive large supply chain data to explain change, develop insights, and provide recommendations.
- Implement process improvement initiatives that drive improvements to the metrics and streamline the Supply Chain.
Nice to have
- An advanced degree M.S., PhD (preferred), or equivalent experience) in Data Science, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, or related fields.
- 2+ years working experience on solving supply-chain business problem is highly preferred.

- The goal is to ensure adaptability to constant changes and complexity in our supply chain systems.
Compensation
- The base salary range for this role is $149,000 - $225,000.00.
