About the role
- Fivetran and dbt are seeking an experienced Compliance, Employment & Litigation Counsel to join our Legal team.
- This role is ideal for an attorney who enjoys combining compliance and day-to-day employment counseling with litigation and dispute management in a fast-paced technology company.
- This position will report to the VP, Compliance, Employment & Litigation.
Responsibilities
- Develop policies and procedures related to ethics, export control, sanctions, anti-corruption, and conflicts of interest to encourage a culture of compliance with rules and regulations.
- Conduct internal investigations of compliance issues, business partner and government inquiries, and handle responses and resolution and assist with overseeing compliance hotline monitoring, responses, resolutions and reports.
- Advise the People Team, and business partners on a wide range of employment law matters across the employee lifecycle.
- Support organizational changes, workforce planning initiatives, restructurings, and reductions in force.
- Support employment-related matters across the United States, Canada, and Latin America, in collaboration with internal and external partners.
