Sonoco is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic/Machinist to support safe, efficient, and high-quality production.
While reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will perform proactive maintenance tasks, work with machining equipment, and respond quickly and effectively to maintenance concerns to ensure timely shipment of Sonoco products.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems, pneumatic actuators, conveyor networks, and three-phase motors.
Perform routine preventive maintenance inspections according to our CMMS schedule.
Work independently, prioritize and manage multiple tasks, and are willing to work an off-

Experience with PLC troubleshooting, industrial controls, and motor controls (strong plus)
