Responsibilities
- Perform inspections for asbestos-containing materials and other regulated building materials, and prepare reports based on findings

Requirements
- 2 + years of experience in building asbestos materials inspections
- Current NYS DOL asbestos inspector certification required
- Familiarity with pertinent asbestos federal, state, and local regulations and specifically with NYS ICR 56 and NYC DEP Title 15, Chapter 1 of the Rules of the City of New York
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and requirements
Nice to have
- B.S. in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field highly preferred
- NYC DEP asbestos investigator certification is preferred
- HS diploma required
- candidates who possess a NYS DOL asbestos inspector certification with a demonstrated ability to obtain the NYC DEP asbestos investigator certification within 6 months of hire may be considered
