Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack applications used by Investment, Trading, Operations, and Compliance teams.
  • Partner directly with end users, business analysts, and project managers, to understand workflows and deliver practical technology solutions.
  • Build scalable backend services using C#,.NET, REST APIs, and cloud-native Azure services.
  • Work with Azure services to build modern solutions, including tools such as Azure Functions, App Services, Azure SQL, Storage Accounts, and Key Vault.
  • Support production applications, troubleshoot issues, and improve system reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, sprint planning, and release activities.
  • Maintain technical documentation and contribute to team standards for development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Solid understanding of software design patterns and development practices, including Entity Framework, Domain-Driven Design, and Test-Driven Development.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools or building AI-enabled automations to improve productivity and solve business problems.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate is comfortable working across the full application stack, with strong experience in C#/.NET, SQL, and Azure-based architecture.
  • For all positions in Quebec (Montreal and Laval), proficiency in French, both spoken and written, is mandatory.
  • Working English proficiency is also required in order to serve our offices and clients around the world.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience with C#,.NET /.NET Core, SQL Server or Azure SQL, and Azure-based environments.
  • Must have requirements to be successful in this role:
  • Experience with Azure Functions, serverless architecture, or other cloud-native patterns.
  • Experience with Python, Blazor, Razor components, or related Microsoft web technologies.
  • Experience with automated testing, including unit, integration, and regression testing.

Compensation

  • The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $145,000.
  • This salary range is for Ontario.
