About the role
- This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing group and company and get involved in a variety of projects for a diverse range of clients.
- Plan and direct environmental field observation and testing programs; including laboratory test selection and data evaluation.
Responsibilities
- Understand client needs and be able to develop strong client relationships.
- Lead development of technical approaches, specifically as related to preparing design-phase documents (design reports, design drawings, technical specifications), obtaining project permits, and implementing remedial construction.
- Manage and develop investigation work plans, remedial alternative assessments and cost analyses, remedial action work plans, and construction cost estimates.
- Manage and implement treatability tests, pilot tests, pre-design investigations.
- Administer and/or manage construction-phase engineering support including submittals review, contractor pay requisitions, change orders, requests for information.
- Understand and adhere to client objectives for remedy implementation and perform designs consistent with regulatory requirements.
- Develop a working understanding of H A's other consulting practice areas and actively support marketing other additional services to existing clients.
Requirements
- Experience with the implementation of Preliminary Assessments, Site/Remedial Investigations and Remedial Actions for remediation of NJ contaminated sites.
Nice to have
- Minimum of Bachelor of Science in civil/environmental engineering, geology or environmental science
- Master of Science degree preferred.
- Experience with the preparation of design plans, permit applications and technical specifications for remediation of NJ contaminated sites, including earthwork and site/civil aspects of remedial construction projects
- Strong computer literacy skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Blue Beam preferred.
- GIS and/or CAD/Civil3D proficiency a plus.

- This is a full-time position located in our Parsippany, NJ; Princeton, NJ; Cherry Hill, NJ; Holicong, PA or Bethlehem, PA offices.
