About the role

  • The Democratic Governors Association (DGA), the campaign committee responsible for electing and supporting Democratic Governors, is seeking an Independent Expenditure (IE) Fundraising Manager for the 2026 cycle.
  • This position will report directly to the IE Director.

Requirements

  • At least one cycle (1-3 years) of campaign fundraising experience.
  • Ability to work efficiently, autonomously, and be responsive
  • Ability to learn quickly and apply lessons to work product in real time.

Compensation

  • Manage IE fundraising and donor maintenance and correspondence;
  • Create memos and other briefing materials for donor meetings and provide other updates to the IE Director, partners, and consulting teams;
  • Coordinate scheduling and prompt communication between IE Director, donors, and other partner organizations;
  • Lead targeting and research to identify prospective new donors and re-engage lapsed donors across multiple states;
  • Facilitate timely, accurate, and legally compliant communication and information sharing across departments, including financial tracking and internal reporting.
  • Assist with the tracking and reconciliation of budgets for IE states;
