About the role
- This will be involved with weighing birds, setup and breakdown of equipment, and also cleaning of equipment and any other jobs necessary.
Responsibilities
- Applicants are not allowed to own any kind of birds due to the risk of possible disease transmission.
- Collect Data and Perform House Checklist within Feed Conversion Houses performing the following weigh chickens
- Perform routine housekeeping duties
- Examine birds for signs of illness and report any problems to lead or manager
Requirements
- Must be a Self-Motivator with ability to perform tasks with accuracy and efficiency
- Team oriented
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work Flexible Hours including some weekends
- Good communication, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills
- Current Drivers License
- Willing to travel from farm to farm
- Biosecurity - Health & Safety are major responsibilities
- Working closely with Grow & Rear farms managers and staff
- May perform other tasks as deemed necessary by supervisor
