About the role
- CERTIFICATION (desired): • BICSI Installer 1 or 2 • Fiber Optic Technician certification • OSHA certifications and any relevant safety training.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of technicians in the installation and maintenance of low voltage copper and fiber optic systems.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in low voltage cabling, specifically with copper and fiber optic installations.
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing a team.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and safety practices.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical diagrams.
- TOOLS: Required to own and maintain all necessary hand tools for copper and fiber installation, ensuring they are kept in optimal working condition.
