  • CPR certification

  • The Allegheny General 5C Medicine Telemetry Unit is a 26 bed unit featuring all private rooms.
  • The unit maintains a fast pace while serving a diverse patient population with diagnoses ranging from heart failure to gastrointestinal bleeds.
  • The patient population includes those with heart failure, MICU stepdown or post-MICU and CCU patients, post-ventilator patients, those experiencing CHF exacerbations, altered mental status, and dyspnea/shortness of breath.
  • The unit manages a patient population very similar to the MICU but at a lower acuity level and sees a good mix of older and younger adult patients.
  • AGH is a Level I Shock Trauma Center
  • 5 state of the art ICU's
  • State of the art Cancer Center
  • 550+ Beds
