About the role
- As a Seasonal Public Programming Associate primary responsibility is to assist in the coordination and growth of Appleton's programming, marketing, events, and presence in our community.
Responsibilities
- Assist Property Manager and Engagement support in all engagement related programs including but not limited to: Father's Day BBQ Bash, barnyard programs, Farm Days, and Oktoberfest.
- Programs include registration, set-up, break-down, promotion, and correspondence with community partners.

- Posting Information: Salary/Hourly Rate: $19 - $20 Hours per week: 5 hours per week Job Classification: Limited, Non-Exempt Job Type: Onsite Duration: May-October Location: Appleton Farms What You'll Do: Your Impact: In this role, you will play a key part in bringing our landscapes and stories to life through engaging, mission-driven public programs and events.

- Creation of branded content such as promotional materials, as well as contributing to social channels (Facebook and Instagram) Being an Appleton/Trustees ambassador and creating awareness of our mission to our community Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation This is a Seasonal, Non-Exempt position 5 hours/week reporting directly to Senior Regional Engagement Manager of North Shore and Appleton Property Director.
- What You'll Need: Skills and Experience: A love of agriculture and farms Social media experience preferred Can-do attitude with strong attention to detail High level of organization and professional attitude Must be organized and able to work independently as well as part of a team Must have strong written and oral communication skills Flexibility to work nights and weekends.
