About the role
- Running a ShipMonk fulfillment center means managing thousands of daily decisions, from inbound receiving to outbound accuracy, while keeping a team of 40+ people moving in the same direction.
- As AGM, you're the operator who makes that happen every shift.
- Inbound, outbound, inventory accuracy, equipment maintenance, and sanitation standards.
Responsibilities
- We provide hands-on, "mom and pop" support with a global reach.
- You'll own the P&L, drive KPIs, and build the layer of supervisory leadership that means the floor doesn't stop when you step away.
- You hire supervisors, develop frontline leads, and build a team that doesn't need you to solve every problem.
- We invest over $10 million annually in research and development to ensure our technology and services continually evolve, helping merchants plant roots with a partner who is here to stay.
- we're a growth partner for merchants.
- We believe in building for the long term, and our success is powered by five key differentiators that help us become true partners to our merchants.
- Unrivaled Support: We provide hands-on, "mom and pop" support with a global reach.
- ShipMonk isn't just a 3PL; we're a growth partner for merchants.
- Own it: We take ownership of our work, our mistakes, and our successes.
Requirements
- A track record of building supervisory layers, not just managing individual contributors
- Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus. A degree helps, but equivalent operational experience is fine.
- What makes ShipMonk different
- We define roles 80% and hire people who can run fast and build the other 20% themselves. We want AGMs who get engaged from day one, not just execute a playbook. If you want ownership and room to shape how a facility runs, this is the right place.

- Experience managing a facility budget and hitting operational KPIs
- Comfort with WMS and enterprise tools (Excel, project management software, process documentation)
- Strong enough communication to present to executives and work a warehouse floor in the same day
- Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
- A degree helps, but equivalent operational experience is fine.
Compensation
- Committed to the Future: We invest over $10 million annually in research and development to ensure our technology and services continually evolve, helping merchants plant roots with a partner who is here to stay.
Benefits
- Full medical, dental, and vision coverage.
- Unlimited PTO.
- Referral bonus program.
