About the role
- This role is at the epicenter of our data operations.
- You will work directly with the operators to oversee collection activities.
- You ensure the velocity and quality of data and a tight cross-functional feedback loop between AI researchers, hardware and software.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing floor oversight, creating SOPs / ensure adherence, defining and implementing processes to scale throughput and maintain data quality to meet increasing data demands
- You will manage expectations across engineering and research stakeholders, ensuring the roadmap remains on track
Requirements
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta
- Advanced proficiency in Unix/Linux environments and with experience debugging scripts (Python, Bash) to automate tasks or troubleshoot data pipelines
- Experience navigating the tension between "perfect" research data and "high-volume" operational reality, with the ability to influence research and engineering leaders
- 2+ years of experience in technical project management, with experience in robotics, autonomous vehicles, or hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) environments
