About the role
- As part of the talented Operations team, you will set up and operate automatic or semi-automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation.
- Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
- Reports any malfunctions or abnormalities and makes minor adjustments and repairs to equipment.

- Double-checking design specifications before commencing with cutting work
Requirements
- While performing duties of the job, incumbent is required to stand for full shift
- the noise level can periodically be higher than normal, hearing protection may be required
- Ability to lift and manipulate large metal pieces
- Ability to stand for long periods

- Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment
- Ability to follow all training procedures in place
- Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints
- Proficiency with metal fabrication tools, including cold saw, tape measure, band saw, general power tools and drill presses
- Good understanding of quality control principles

- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition
Compensation
- decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate's qualifications and the business context.
- The anticipated pay range for this position is $18-$23, hourly.
