About the role
- Ensure customer satisfaction and high service levels where freight is picked up and delivered on time using safe, reliable carriers
- Meet or exceed team financial and individual performance goals
Responsibilities
- Establish relationships, negotiate, and develop carriers regularly via phone and email in order to develop core and dedicated carriers specific to Uber Freights chemical accounts
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in a carrier management or carrier sales position or related position.
- Prior Bulk experience or experience with related modes
- Acquire knowledge of freight network/lanes- know what internal freight lanes we run and find carriers that match these lanes
Nice to have
- 3PL knowledge or prior experience within a 3PL environment/Freight Brokerage
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Prior TMS experience
- Experience working with Chemical freight
