About the role
- Arizona Liver Health and is looking for qualified candidates for their Clinic APP position in Tucson, AZ.
- Title: Clinic Advanced Practice Provider APP (Tucson)
Responsibilities
- 30-min Initial Call with Internal Talent Partner (Recruiter)
Requirements
- Successful candidates are Nurse Practitioners (NPs) or Physician Assistants (PAs) who have previous experience with gastroenterology (GI) and/or hepatology.
- The Clinic APP plays a crucial role in driving and expanding the organization's ability to provide innovative patient care for those affected by liver disease.
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required
- Strong ability to identify issues with "quietly unhappy" patients
- Ability to provide patient care with minimal supervision
- Ability to diagnose and make treatment decisions for patients
Nice to have
- Bilingual (Spanish-speaking)
- Ability to problem solve with systems and processes
- Leadership skills
- Commitment to earning additional certifications/professional titles outside scope of work
- Ability to resourceful and consults resources before asking others for instruction
- Previous outpatient hepatology/gastroenterology experience as an NP or a PA preferred
- Experience in completing fibroscans for patients preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program from an accredited institution

Compensation
- $110,000 - $155,000 per year; depending on experience
- Please note: the top of the salary range is reserved for highly experienced APPs with proven specialty experience in Hepatology and Gastroenterology.

- Responsible for performing patient evaluations, consults, and review of pretreatment for standard of care patients as well clinical research patients
- Educating patients on therapeutic options through available liver clinical trials onsite
