Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product management and ML teams to integrate AI-driven firmware solutions into customer applications.
- Partner with ML engineers to create robust AI models that generate high-quality firmware solutions.
- Support the data team by gathering large-scale firmware data for training AI models.
- Evaluate and validate AI-generated firmware to ensure it meets industry standards and product requirements.
- Hire, mentor, and lead a team of firmware engineers to support ongoing AI model development.
- Experience in developing firmware for semiconductors, microcontrollers, ECUs, robotics, vehicles, HPC, real-time controls, system, or controls software, or similar hardware devices.

- Ability to collaborate with customers and translate their needs into technical solutions.
Requirements
- Required Skill Sets: Deep knowledge of embedded firmware development in C/C++, with experience in real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Strong understanding of firmware architecture, hardware-software co-design, and debugging.
- Experience with typical microcontroller architecture and peripherals such as ADC, DAC, PWM, Timers, and communication protocols (SPI, I2C, CAN, UART).
- Proficiency in debugging embedded systems using tools such as scopes, logic analyzers, and debuggers.
- Experience with AI/ML model development or a willingness to learn and collaborate with ML teams to train firmware-generating models.
- Experience with AI-driven firmware generation or similar innovative approaches.
