About the role
- Assists with oversite of regulatory expectations for Nuclear Medicine in the Flint Hills Region.
- Experience Qualifications - 1 year Experience in nuclear medicine or a related field.
- Seeks opportunities to improve knowledge base by attending departmental meetings, in services and other educational activities.
Responsibilities
- Performs diagnostic studies on patients as prescribed by Physician, using scanners or scintillation cameras to detect radiation emitted and to produce image of organ.
- Performs venipuncture for injections.
- Willingly accepts various work assignments. Is accountable and responsible for own actions/decisions.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Maintains CEU's for certification.
Requirements
- The employee must be able to lift or move 4 to 5 patients on a daily basis.
- Ability to help and assist needful patients onto camera pallet or exam table.
- Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to express and exchange ideas by means of the written and spoken word.
- Must be able to walk from area to area.
- Workspace is a quiet and distraction-free allowing the ability to comply with all security and privacy standards.
Nice to have
- 1 year Experience in nuclear medicine or a related field.

- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- NMTCB Required or
- Nuclear Medicine Technology
- ARRT Required or
- Radiography
- ARRT Must complete cross training within 6 months of hire. Required
- Licensed Radiology Technologist (LRT)
- KSBHA Valid Kansas License or eligible must be obtained. Required
Compensation
- Abide by Stormont Vail's Remote Worker Policy and will review and acknowledge the Remote Work Agreement annually.
