Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of software and controls development projects, managing tasks from initial concept, through production launch, and ongoing post-launch support.
  • Regularly update and manage project plans, schedules, and resource allocation, closely monitoring progress and addressing potential challenges or risks as they arise.
  • Work closely with colleagues across engineering, manufacturing, and other departments to support efficient production processes and align efforts with company objectives and technological advancements.
  • Lead and mentor project teams daily, providing direction and support to guarantee successful, on-time delivery of project milestones.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills, fostering a culture of trust and accountability through mentorship, hands-on guidance, and effective delegation to drive project success.

Requirements

  • Proven adaptability and resilience, maintaining focus and proactively managing project risks and shifting priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced engineering environment.
  • Travel Required

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's in Engineering required
  • Master's preferred
  • At least five years of experience managing projects or programs in a technical or engineering environment, with solid understanding of product development and engineering change management
  • Experience managing project schedules, team supervision, and collaboration among multiple stakeholders
  • Understanding of human resources, budgeting, resource planning, and legal risk management
  • Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms
  • Experience in automotive, commercial vehicle, off-road, or transportation industries.
  • Knowledge of Agile and V-model development processes.
