Responsibilities
- Performs, reviews and reports laboratory tests that will assist in the diagnosing and treating of patients.
- Performs quality assurance and control procedures in adherence with standard operating procedures, federal, state, and CAP regulations
- Following established laboratory protocol, independently performs a variety of laboratory procedures, both manual and automated (see training checklists and direct observation checklists for detailed description of procedures).
- Performs antimicrobial sensitivity testing when applicable and interpret results.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
