About the role
- The Distribution Associate/Equipment Operator is responsible for safely operating material handling equipment and supporting warehouse operations including receiving, picking, loading, inventory control, and order fulfillment in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory accuracy and document discrepancies
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous material handling equipment experience required
- Experience operating cherry pickers, reach trucks, stand-up/sit-down forklifts, or electric pallet jacks required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on concrete floors
- Ability to frequently squat, kneel, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds individually or heavier items with team assistance
- Ability to safely operate equipment at heights up to 35 feet
- Ability to climb stairs and safely use ladders or stools
- Must wear required steel-toed footwear and follow OSHA safety standards
Nice to have
- Warehouse or distribution center experience preferred
- RF scanner and Voice Pick Technology experience preferred
