About the role

  • PitchBook's Commercial organization is a key driver of our growth-fueling both new client acquisition and long-term account success.
  • From initial outreach to product demonstrations and deal closure led by our New Business team, and the ongoing relationship management provided by our Account Managers, each team plays a vital role.
  • Clear communication will be critical, as you'll be responsible for multiple tasks running concurrently.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively partner with department head to help maximize their daily effectiveness
  • Maintains the strictest confidence with sensitive matters, including preparing and reviewing documentation when dealing with confidential information
  • Collaborate with team managers to better understand and relieve bottlenecks across department
  • Support and collaborate on planning of all-up events including All Hands, offsite strategic planning meetings, company events, and other activities as needed
  • Support department projects of all sizes in coordination with the Commercial Business Operations team and ensure deadlines are being met
  • Work collaboratively with other administrative assistants within the organization to provide comprehensive executive support

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 1+ year of corporate working experience or 2+ years of professional administrative experience
  • Ability to balance the big picture with attention to detail
  • Ability to react with appropriate urgency to situations and requests
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • Thinks creatively and independently to tackle challenges, solve problems, and get results
  • Desire to take on challenges

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
