About the role
- This is an exciting role in an innovative, high-growth defense technology company.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support sophisticated test systems to test high-volume and high-performance RF, digital, and power electronics in a production environment
- Work closely with system and design engineers to create test requirements and criteria to sell-off system/subsystem requirements
- Work closely with manufacturing engineers to triage yield issues of production hardware, provide guidance on hardware disposition/troubleshooting, and develop test system maintainability plans such as calibration procedures
- Support fast prototyping by designing and building engineering test sets for investigation purposes
Requirements
- BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Test Engineering or an advanced degree without experience
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Previous experience with designing and troubleshooting automated test benches for various types of hardware
- Familiarity with electrical test and measurement equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators, power supplies
- Previous experience with environmental acceptance and qualification test plans
- Ability to cover the entire test system lifecycle independently
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident (future clearance may be required)
