About the role
- Removes trash and linen from the hospital using compactor and cardboard baler.
- Distributes linen throughout the hospital.
- Moving furniture and other heavy equipment is accomplished as directed.
Responsibilities
- Performs cleaning functions in assigned areas using prescribed methods.
- Maintains assigned equipment for cleanliness and have repairs done when necessary.
- Observes and reports on the need for repairs to equipment, furniture, building and fixtures.
- Demonstrates ability to work in a fast-paced and customer service-oriented environment and to perform duties and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
- Performs all essential job functions while on duty
- Maintains a safe environment
