About the role

Responsibilities

  • This role plays a critical part in supporting the commercial and operational success of our projects by developing, negotiating, and executing client contracts and change orders for both newly awarded and ongoing studies.
  • As a trusted business partner, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Legal, and Sales to ensure contractual agreements are accurate, commercially sound, and aligned with project requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Clinical Research, or a related field
  • 5 years of experience in contract management, financial analysis, or a related field, preferably in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess financial and contractual implications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly with Word & Excel

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with project budgeting, pricing models, and change order management (preferred)
  • Experience negotiating commercial or contractual terms with clients (preferred)

Skills

  • Prepare, review, negotiate, and execute client contracts, start-up agreements, and change orders
  • Gather input from key stakeholders to ensure contract terms and change orders accurately reflect project needs
  • Interpret contractual language, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), study start-up agreements, and standalone contracts
  • Analyze project budgets and cost proposals, providing recommendations and justification for client submissions
  • Update internal reporting systems with clear and timely contract status information
  • Travel domestically and internationally as needed (approximately 5% or less)
